Error ORA-01090

ORA-01090: shutdown in progress - connection is not permitted.

Cause: The SHUTDOWN command was used to shut down a running ORACLE instance, so you cannot connect to ORACLE.

Action: Wait for the instance to be restarted, or contact your DBA.
